Partner
Joe Rotunda is a Partner for the company and guides the technical aspects of the business. Currently, he is focused on dosimetry, neutron detection, EPR/ESR, NMR, OSL and TLD technology and systems. In addition, he provides personal dosimetry training on the Harshaw TLD product line. Joe lives in San Diego, California, and operates the local office. When not working, you will find him spending time with his wife Lisa, their kids, or sailing out in the San Diego Bay.
Lisa is a quiet but active business partner. She is a serial entrepreneur with previous on-line and store front businesses, which contributes to the success of this woman-owned company.Lisa lives in San Diego, California, and assists Joe at the local office there. She enjoys going for walks around San Diego, meeting new people and discovering new places.
Sales and Marketing
Alexandra (Alex) Hoffmann is the Sales & Marketing Manager for myOSLchip, PSLfood, and TLDCube at Rotunda Scientific Technologies. She oversees conferences, trade exhibitions, and human resources. Originally from Ohio, Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Kent State University. After graduating, she relocated to San Diego, where she has lived for over a decade. Outside of work, Alex enjoys traveling, cooking, and going on adventures with her husband Mathieu and their dog Whiskey.
Ivan Wortman is the Sales and Marketing Manager for the Industrial and Energy product line. He also oversees the company's special projects, quality system, and business automations.Originally from Pennsylvania, Ivan relocated to Ohio to study at Ashland University while playing baseball. He found his way to Rotunda Scientific Technologies in 2018 and has been here ever since. Outside of work, Ivan enjoys spending time with his wife, Hannah, and their dog, Winnie. Hobbies include: 3D printing, cooking, and woodworking.
Connor Barleben is the Sales and Marketing Manager for the ED3, GMS310 series, and Industrial Components. He also contributes to various Health and Medical Physics product lines.Connor grew up in Western New York, then relocated to Ohio to study at Ashland University while playing baseball. He came to Rotunda Scientific Technologies in 2023. Outside of work, Connor enjoys spending time with his wife, Paige, and their dog Ribbie, as well as traveling and playing golf.
Office Manager
Heather Peters is the Office Manager for Rotunda Scientific TechnologiesHeather is an Ohio native. A business manager with over 10 years of experience in leading teams, projects, and strategies. She has a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and customer satisfaction. She has successfully managed and delivered various projects in different domains, such as the construction and dental fields. She is always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges. Outside of work, Heather is enjoying life with her son, husband, and her dog Mila, She enjoys spending her time with family and friends.
Service and Office Manager
Susanna Martini is the Service and Office Manager for Rotunda Scientific Technologies. Susanna was born in Berlin, Germany. She recently moved to the USA and joined RST. She studied International Business and Tourism Management in Germany and Argentina. During her college years, she interned with Ashoka, an organization that identifies and supports social entrepreneurs. After leaving college, she worked in the travel industry at USAG Benelux in Chievres, Belgium. For most of her professional career, she was an accountant at a private school in Berlin, Germany. There, she was responsible for the accounts payable and receivable and dealt with Tuition Management. Additionally, she prepared the annual financial statements and tax returns and managed the HR administration. Susanna loves reading and finally joined a book club. She loves to travel, hike, and swim. Both of her teenage daughters keep her and her husband busy in the afternoons and weekends with basketball, volleyball, soccer, and dancing. She feels lucky to get everyone together for a good board game.
