If you have a Cesium 137 calibration source or a Potassium K-40 source, you will be able to calibrate this device on your own. If you do not have these sources, we offer calibration services that include a calibration certificate.
Most of our orders are quoted Ex-Works. If you require different shipping terms, we can work with you but we will need more information.
The sample time for measurements can be set anywhere from 10 seconds to 900 seconds. We recommend that a minimum of 30 seconds per measurement be used. A good thing to remember is that the longer the measurement, the more accurate it will be.
The measurements are best to analyze on the PC software. After a set of measurements are performed, hook the GMS310 up to a PC and follow the instructions in the manual to upload the data and view the results.
The GMS310 comes with a 1 year warranty. An extended warranty is also available for purchase.
Replacing the battery is simple. Their is an endcap on the back of the instrument that twists off and the batteries are removed. To charge the batteries, they must be inside the instrument. There is a charging port on the back of the instrument for the charging cable. Note: Do not operate the instrument while it is charging.
