Medical Physics, generally speaking, can be defined as a field where applied physics techniques are utilized in medicine practices. It is responsible for the technical foundations of radiology, radiation oncology, and nuclear medicine. Specifically, medical physics mostly works with the use of ionizing or non-ionizing radiation in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
